Daliah Bartlett

I am Daliah Bartlett, I have been the secretary of The Bishop’s Stortford Chamber of Commerce for three years.

Being the secretary involves a large range of jobs, from organising events, seeing to the accounts and the admin, attending Committee Meetings and actioning the minutes as well as liaising with members and the local council.

I find the time I spend at work very fulfilling and enjoyable and gives me the opportunity to switch off from a busy home and interact with business minded people.

I am married and have three children aged 18, 14 and 11.

Having left school at the age of 17 to go straight into a management training scheme at John Lewis Oxford Street for 2 years, I then moved into their buying office for 4 years, I also attended college at this time to do a 2-year retail management course.

I left John Lewis to run my fathers retail business but left there after having my first child. During the course of having my children I worked flexible hours at Stansted Airport in various roles.

Justin Robinson

A Lancastrian by birth, I have lived in Bishop’s Stortford since joining local law firm Tees in 1996 where I’m now a Partner in the litigation department and Head of Office. Having played cricket for the town in my younger days, I can now be frequently spotted on the touchline at the rugby club.
